Allu Arjun endorses for Colgate

After being the brand ambassador for 7up, Stylish Star Allu Arjun is now signed up for promoting the Colgate Max Fresh tooth paste in Andhra Pradesh. Reports reveal that Allu Arjun has been paid a whopping amount for the deal.

Confirming the news Ms Rekha Rao, Vice-President, Marketing said, "Colgate MaxFresh is targeted at the youth. Today's youth is always looking for something fresh and unique. We are pleased to have on board Allu Arjun as our brand ambassador."

Allu Arjun said he is extremely happy for signing up with Colgate Max Fresh. The ad shooting had been shot and it will soon be aired on small-screens.

A look into the past three years reveals some interesting figures for both DSP and Thaman. Devi has done four, four and six projects in 2009, 2010 and 2011 respectively. On the other hand, Thaman has delivered eight, eleven and eleven projects in those three years. With many flicks in hand, Thaman is still the sought after music director for our Tollywood makers. This is because Thaman comes in a shoe-string budget when compared with his colleague. DSP charges an whopping 1+ crore and Thaman finishes the job in almost 50-70 lakhs, that is exactly half of DSP.

However, critics are saying that it is not easy for Devi to deliver that many projects in a year as he 'creates' most of his tunes. Thaman on the other hand is 'copy-king', who always gives a flare of international songs to Telugu audience. It is heard that even his latest NIPPU and LOVE FAILURE have a couple of 'copied' international tunes. As you invest, so you get quality!
