Story:

Ranga (Sunil) is a real estate dealer in Hyderabad who is in fianancial mess. He buys a land in the surroundings of Warangal by keeping his father's house in risk so as to seel it and gain profit. But later he realizes that Konda Reddy (Dev Gill) and Lala Goud (Pradeep Rawat) are causing trouble by killing the persons who come to purchase that land. In this regard, Ranga, with the help of his friend Vasu (Ali) plans to make Lala Goud daughter Anitha (Isha Chawla) fall for him. He tries to bring the two families together. What will Ranga do now? How does he get back the land and sell it forms the crux of Poolarangadu.

Performances:

Sunil has come up with an excellent performance. He is at ease in doing comedy, dances and also in emotional scenes. It's a treat to watch him in the imitation dialogues of star heroes. He has convinced with the emotional scenes and the climax scene.

Isha Chawla is natural and cute. Performance wise, Isha is impressive and her scenes with Sunil have come out well.

Dev Gill's character could have been etched well while Pradeep Rawat was okay. Ali, Sathyam Rajesh and Raghu Babu are good. Telangana Sakunthala is perfect, Prithivi raj is hilarious. Rest of the cast Sudha, Kota, Duvvasi Mohan etc did their bit as required.

Technical Analysis:

Veerabhadram's direction is good and it's an asset for the film. Screenplay in the first half is entertaining while it's a bit slow in the second half though there are not many boring or dull moments in the film. Cinematography by Prasad Murella is on top notch and Sreedhar Seepana dialogues make a mark by adding value to the film. Editing is good. Music by Anoop Rubens is okay while the background score lifted the emotional scenes. Kanal Kannan action sequences need a special mention. He has done a good job. Production values of RR Movie Makers are standard.

Analysis:

Sunil's hard work in achieving Macho look is appreciative but in the process he has lost the original charm in his face. The actor needs to immediately work on this. Veerabhadram and Sunil are the real heroes of Poolarangadu. Though the director has come up with the run-of-the mill story, he has managed to keep the audiences glued with the entertaining screenplay. Poolarangadu has the shades of 'Maryada Ramanna' or 'Hanuman Junction' and other recent films but the director's grip on the script and narration made Poolarangadu an entertaining watch.

The first half of the film is quite entertaining with hilarious moments while the second half has emotional elements and moves on a bit slow pace. The climax fight has been shot very well with Sunil flaunting his six-pack abs.

Final Verdict:

Though a routine story, Poolarangadu entertains to the fullest…

Love Failure Movie Review

Story:

The story takes off with Arun (Siddharth), who is an engineering student describes about his failure relationship with his girlfriend Parvathi (Amala Paul). He narrates how he has seen Paravathi, fell for her and the following consequences like ego clashes that led them to go for break up. Arun later sees similar incidents in his close pal's life and in this regard he realizes his true love for Parvathi and the way he is missing her. How does Arun realize what does he do to get back his love is all about Love Failure.

Performances:

Siddharth looked young and energetic and he has sleepwalked through the urbane lover boy role in the movie. He is admiring and maintained the seriousness and confused attitude throughout.

Amala Paul looked perfect as Parvati. She looked cute and has delivered her best when it comes to the performance. Her chemistry with Siddharth has worked well.

Suresh and Surekha Vani are apt for the roles while the rest of the cast did their bit as required.

Technical Analysis:

Cinematography by Nirav Shah is an asset for the film. The songs have been neatly pictured and Thaman's melodious tunes are good and hummable. The background score is elevating. Dialogues are apt and at times hilarious. Balaji Mohan direction is good. Love Failure story is unique but the screenplay could have been better in the second half.

Analysis:

Director Balaji Mohan has come up with a unique and fresh storyline that youngsters get connected. The director has looked into the way the present youth are thinking about love and how they are ending up relationships with the silly issues and ego clashes. Balaji Mohan has stuck to the script and did not add any illogical content or ingredients to embellish it as commercial entertainer.

The presentation is appealing, script is novel but the screenplay and narration could have been better in the second half as it seem to be dragging. The protagonist speaking directly to the camera is a novel idea to Telugu cinema and Siddharth does it effectively. The first half of the film goes on a lighter mode with romance and comedy as engaging moments while the second half moves on a slow pace with a couple of twists and sentiments.

Final Verdict:

Love Failure is urbane romantic entertainer that connects well with the youth!!!

Nippu Movie Review

story:

Surya (Ravi Teja) is a happy go lucky guy who works as gymnasts coach. He is the friend of Sriram (Sriram). Surya falls in love with Sriram's sister Meghana (Deeksha Seth). Meanwhile, Surya will have a riff with a local goon Raja Goud (Pradeep Rawat) and he seeks for taking a revenge on the erstwhile. Surya leaves to Saudi for his friend Sriram, who works for a company in the country. At the same time, the Saudi Police comes to arrest Sriram on the case of Vaishnavi (Bhavana) death. Vaishnavi is the daughter of Raja Goud and how does Surya solve the issue to save his friend Sriram forms the crux of Nippu.

Performances:

Like every other film, Ravi Teja is energetic and has done justice for the role. His dialogue delivery, modulations in his gestures, hysterics were crowd pulling factors to the masses. His scenes with Brahmanandam were entertaining. However, Ravi Teja looked a bit old in the movie.

Deeksha Seth is hot and glamorous. She improved in acting by delivering a reasonable performance compared to her earlier outings. However, Deeksha needs to work on her expressions.

Rajendra Prasad and Sriram are good while Bhavana is impressive. Brahmanandam, Krishnudu, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam are hilarious. Pradeep Rawat is regular and Mukul Dev is okay.

Technical Analysis:

Sarvesh Murari's cinematography is the only aspect to boast of. The songs were pictured in beautifully. Thaman's musical scores were mediocre while the background score is good. The normal fights were good but the visual effects played the spoilsport. It looked illogical and indeed was humorous. Dialogues by Akula Shiva were good at places

Though Gunasekhar's story is decent, the screenplay is unimpressive while the narration is unconvincing. Editing on the other hand is pathetic. Better editing could have saved the film. Production values are standard.

Analysis:

Gunasekhar has penned the story with a friendship backdrop but the script is uninteresting and the screenplay is not gripping. The director failed to convince with his weak script which showcases neither the friendship scenes nor the family drama. The entire first half runs on comedy and only in the end of the first half the actual story begins. The second half of the film also moves at slow pace with hardly any intense or engaging scenes that keep audiences glued to screens. Nevertheless, the latter half is a bit better than the former. The action sequences especially the chase sequences were weak and illogical and there is a lack of quality comedy. Nippu might appeal to an extent to the formulaic movie lovers.

All in all, Nippu might open to good opening with the names like Ravi Teja, Guna Sekhar and YVS Chowdary, but the film do not have enough substance to register a hit at the Box-Office.

Final Verdict:

Nippu - Routine Formulaic flick
