Story:


Shiva (Ajay) is a sportsman and is the son of Police Commissioner (Nagineedu). Ajay, who fails in love with his classmate Divya ( Sindu Tulani) turns psychic and so his father throws him out of house. Three years later, Rahul (Nithin) a fun loveing college guy sees Priya (Nithya Menon) and falls for her while flying to Hyderabad. The weather conditions forces the flight to land in Goa. And with the help of his aunt (Rohini) Rahul meets Priya and creates a good impression with friendly and caring nature. In a short span of time, the duo gets close to each other and falls in love. After they arrive to Hyderabad, they get to know that Priya's brother is Ajay who loved Rahul's sister Divya. How does Rahul overcome the hurdles and wins his love Priya is all about Ishq.

Performances:

Nithin has taken a brief gap before Ishq and he has done a good job. He has brought in a refreshing change bys shedding few kilos, his expressions in emotional scenes are apt. His chemistry with Nithya Menon worked big time for the film and when we step out of theaters we just remember the characters Rahul & Priya.
Being a romantic entertainer, female lead Nithya Menon has a good scope for performance and she utilized to the best. Nithya is at ease performing the role of Priya. She is expressive and is a treat to watch.
Ajay bagged a good role and he is perfect. He brings out laughs for his scenes with Ali in the second half. Ali is hilarious, Sindhu Tulani does justice to her role, Rohini gets short yet significant roles, Nagineedu and Supreet are adequate.
Technical Analysis
Pc Sreeram cinematography is outstanding and is the main asset of the film. Anoop Rubens music is pleasing to ears and so is the background score. O Priya Priya and Sootiga Choodaku are greatly shot. Direction by Vikram Kumar is good, the love track was quite impressive. Editing by Sreekar Prasad is crisp and neat; dialogues by Ramesh Samala were apt as per the script. Production Vales are fine.

Analysis:

Director Vikram Kumar's story for Ishq is simple but it's the screenplay and narration that made a difference. The first half of the film is good with ample entertainment and the lead pair's awesome chemistry. PC Sreeram is the hero of the film, his work is adorable, even the simple expressions by the lead pair were aesthetically captured and every frame looked rich. However, the second half of the film goes on predictable note but the pre-climax scenes are good again. The first half is the major plus for the film while the second half remains an average. While Ishq will appeal to the class audiences it doesn't have much for the masses.

Ravi Teja Feels Telangana Heat Again!

At a time when everybody is of the view that the Telangana movement has subsided and the Telugu film industry is breathing it easy, it seems to have started all over again.

The pro-Telangana activists have once again started targeting the Telugu film industry, dominated by Seemandhra people, in their attempt to highlight their demand for separate Telangana state.

On Wednesday, the Telangana activists obstructed the shooting of the film "Daruvu" starring hero Ravi Teja at the RTC Hospital, Tarnaka, closer to Osmania University.

Hundreds of students and Telangana activists assembled at the shooting spot and asked the unit members to leave the place. They ransacked the shooting equipment and furniture and demanded that Ravi Teja raise Jai Telangana slogans. In the melee, Ravi Teja left the spot and the shooting was packed up.

It is for the second time that Ravi Teja had to feel the Telangana heat. A couple of months ago, the Telangana activists stalled the shooting of his film "Nippu" being shot at Saddupalli village of Hayatnagar mandal in Ranga Reddy district on the outskirts of Hyderabad. That time, however, there was no violence and the activists only demanded the hero to raise Jai Telangana slogans. But then, too, Ravi Teja walked out of shooting without obliging their request.

In the past, the Telangana activists obstructed several other shootings. In one of the major incidents, they smashed the car of Mahesh Babu at the shooting of his film "Dookudu" at Anantagiri hills near Vikarabad in Ranga Reddy district. They set on fire a special set erected exclusively for the film and when the shooting crew resisted the attack, they pelted stones at the sets, damaged cameras, lighting equipment and vehicles.

'Rebel' In High Tensions

It has been quite a while since the film 'Rebel' has been on the floors and though it has reached the final stages, a new talk has emerged. Sources say the film is going through some major 'Budget' tensions. The reason for that is the director of the film Raghava Lawrence.

According to inside sources, it is because of his attitude the budget has been increasing but the shooting is yet to be completed. Unit members have revealed how Lawrence would suddenly say "Today my mood is not good, we will shoot when my mood is good" and he used to go home.

All this is taking a toll on the duo of Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao and it is heard that the Producer duo is crying with tension. The Cinema is getting stopped and starting again. There is also a talk that's why hero Prabhas got vexed and signed up another film 'Vaaradhi'. Even during the start of 'Rebel' there was a problem because of Lawrence and it resulted in Anushka walking out of the project, as per sources.

Ramcharan as Viswam is a Medico promises is father he would solve the water problem of his village during which he encounters with the anti-social elements and politicians who are behind the problems of the village, meanwhile Tammana who is also Medico joins the hero to support him in his fight against the goons.
